The Electric Chair Workout

Whether you are an avid tennis player seeking a good workout or want to improve your conditioning for future matches, this tennis drill is for you!  The drill (explained in the last video below), called "The Electric Chair" is a great way to work on staying low when hitting ground strokes.  There are a few big "ah ha!" moments that I remember in which I found something that helped my game tremendously.  Staying low was one of them.  A great player that does this well is Kevin Anderson and Agnieszka Radwańska.  See below for what I mean about staying low!

Other than staying low, another big takeaway from this drill is the art of getting back to the middle as fast as you can.  This is essential to great tennis but also to rest between shots during this drill!  Here is the video covering these aspects and a few others.  Enjoy!
